Cookie policy
This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies best7seatercars.com uses. By default we set no cookies for visitors, and we do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
A few features store small pieces of information in your own browser so they work, and Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a security cookie in some cases. If we add advertising or analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), a website must tell you about them and get your consent, unless they are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for or another legal exception applies.
Cookies we set
We set no cookies for visitors by default. The only cookie the site itself sets is for administrators:
| Cookie | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| __Host-b7s_session | Keeps a site administrator signed in to the admin area. It is set only when an administrator signs in, so visitors never receive it. | Up to 7 days, renewed while in use, and removed on sign-out |
Information stored in your browser
Some features save small pieces of information in your browser's local storage so they work. This information stays on your device, and we do not collect it.
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| b7s-compare | Remembers the cars you add to the comparison tray so you can compare them side by side. | Until you remove the cars or clear your browser data |
| Cookie choice | Used only if we show a cookie banner: remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so we do not ask on every page. | Until you clear your browser data |
The comparison tray works like a shopping basket: it is strictly necessary for a feature you choose to use, so it does not need consent. You can clear any of this information at any time in your browser settings.
Cloudflare security cookies
Cloudflare delivers and protects this site. If it needs to check that a visitor is a person rather than a bot, for example by showing a security check, it may set a cookie such as cf_clearance. Cloudflare classes these cookies as strictly necessary, and they are used for security, not for advertising.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at present. Advertising may help fund the site in future, so we may add an advertising service such as Google AdSense, or an analytics service. These services may set their own cookies or use similar technologies, for example to count visits, limit how often you see an advert or show adverts based on your interests.
Before any of them are used, we will update this policy with the cookies involved and who sets them, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it. Advertising cookies always need consent. Some analytics that only produce statistics to improve the site can be used without consent, but we will still tell you about them and give you a simple way to object.
Managing cookies
If we show a cookie banner, you can accept or reject optional cookies there. To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies and stored data in your browser settings. The site works without them, although the comparison tray will not remember your cars.
