A hybrid luxury MPV built around its middle row, with powered sliding doors and a fold-up third row
Quick answer
Yes, in some versions. Only the LM 350h AWD 7-seat has seven seats, as the LM Takumi is a four-seater. In seven-seat form the seats are arranged 2-2-3: two in front, two in the middle row and three in the third row.
Best for Luxury travel for up to six, with a seventh seat for short trips
The Lexus 7-seater sold in the UK is a hybrid luxury MPV with powered sliding doors, and its three-seat back row tips up to make luggage room.
It is built around the middle row: Autocar says the two middle seats get the space priority and the flip-up rear chairs are for occasional use. With all seven seats in use the boot holds just 110 litres, and Euro NCAP has not tested the LM.

With all seven seats in use the boot holds 110 litres, the smallest of the 4 MPVs with a published boot figure and 136 litres less than the median. The maximum load space is 1,191 litres.
With every seat in use the LM has 110 litres of boot, a VDA figure from Lexus UK, so a full load of seven people leaves very little room for luggage. Tip up the third row and the space grows to 1,191 litres (the press pack says 1,190), but that leaves four seats, which is why Lexus gives no five-seat figure. The four-seat Takumi has 752 litres. Our 7-seater boot space comparison shows how other models do with every seat filled.
How it is measured Lexus UK technical specification VDA figures for the 7-seat: 110 litres with every seat in use and 1,191 litres maximum with the third row tipped up (the press pack says 1,190). Tipping up the third row leaves four seats, so there is no five-seat figure. The four-seat Takumi has 752 litres.
At 5,125mm (5.13m, 16ft 10in) long, the LM is 62mm shorter than the median MPV, and the 3rd shortest of the 6 MPVs we track. It is 1,890mm wide without mirrors and 1,940mm tall. The wheelbase, the distance between the front and rear axles, is 3,000mm.
Lexus fits a three-seat back row split two-plus-one, with thick padding, which tips up to make more luggage room. Autocar says the two middle-row seats get the space priority and the flip-up rear chairs are intended for occasional use. Auto Express calls the seventh seat a jump-style perch and thinks the LM works best with six on board for long trips.
The back row is a three-seat bench split two-plus-one, with thick padding, and it tips up when you need luggage space (Lexus UK). Reviewers see it as secondary: Autocar says the flip-up rear chairs are intended for occasional use, and Auto Express calls the seventh seat a jump-style perch and thinks the LM works best with six on board for long trips.
The sources we checked do not list Isofix positions, so confirm child-seat fitting with a Lexus dealer.

Our verdict The LM is a hybrid luxury MPV built around its two middle-row seats, with powered sliding doors as standard. Its third row is for occasional use and leaves 110 litres of boot when all seven seats are filled.
The LM is 5,125mm long, 1,890mm wide without mirrors and 1,940mm tall, so check height limits before relying on multi-storey car parks. Powered sliding side doors are standard (Lexus UK), which helps passengers get in where there is no room to swing a door open.
Power figures vary: Lexus UK's current output is 206 DIN hp, lower than the 247bhp quoted at the 2023 launch and still used by Auto Express, while carwow lists 250bhp. We found no towing figure. For other people carriers, see our 7-seater MPV list.

Yes. With seven seats you can have hybrid versions.
Seats and luggage space. The LM 350h AWD 7-seat has a 2-2-3 layout and 110 litres of boot with every seat in use, while the Takumi is a four-seater with 752 litres. The Takumi also costs considerably more.
Not any more. At its 2023 UK launch the 7-seat was offered with front-wheel drive, but the current Lexus UK price list includes only all-wheel-drive versions.
No. Euro NCAP has not tested the LM, and Auto Express thinks low sales make a test unlikely (carwow, Auto Express).
