Seat's seven-seat SUV, sold new from 2018 to 2024, with seven seats in every UK car
Quick answer
Yes. Every UK Tarraco has seven seats, according to Auto Express and The Car Expert.
The Tarraco's third row suits children, and Honest John reports unresolved 1.5 TSI petrol problems. A 2.0 TDI diesel is the version reviewers recommend.
The Seat Tarraco 7-seater was sold new from 2018 until production ended in 2024, and carwow says getting into its third row is not easy.
Boot space is 230 litres with all seven seats up, 700 litres with five and 1,775 litres at most on Honest John and carwow figures, though Auto Express quotes a 2,005-litre maximum. Euro NCAP awarded five stars in 2019.

With all seven seats in use the boot holds 230 litres, close to the median of 240 litres for the 29 new SUVs, on sale or coming soon, with a published boot figure. With five seats in use the boot holds 700 litres, rising to a maximum of 1,775 litres.
How it is measured Honest John and Carwow figures. Parkers also gives 230 and 700 litres, and Auto Express quotes a 2,005-litre maximum.
At 4,735mm (4.74m, 15ft 6in) long, the Tarraco is 139mm shorter than the median new SUV. It is 1,839mm wide without mirrors and 1,658mm tall.
Third row suitsChildren
Honest John and Carwow say the back row is best kept for children. Parkers finds footroom the main restriction, and Carwow says getting in is not easy.
3Isofix points
The Tarraco has three Isofix points: front passenger seat and outer seats in row 2. None are in the third row. That is enough for three Isofix child seats, though whether three fit side by side depends on the seats you choose.
5 stars from Euro NCAP, tested in 2019. Ratings from different years are not directly comparable, as the tests get tougher over time.
Before you pay: if a seller describes a Tarraco as a hybrid, check the fuel type on the V5C.

Replacement of curtain airbag
In Terraco vehicles within a specified range of VINs curtain airbags with a defective gas generator may have been installed due to a manufacturing error. A defective gas generator may cause the airbag not to work correctly and therefore not provide the required level of protection. In the event of an accident where the curtain airbag is deployed components from the gas generator may become detached and injure vehicle passengers
Remedy: Replace curtain airbag

Not comfortably. The third row is best kept for children.
The 2.0 TDI diesel. Honest John recommends it for economy and torque, and CarGurus picks the 150PS 2.0 TDI in Xcellence trim. Honest John also reports ongoing problems with the 1.5 TSI petrol that Seat has not resolved.
Sources disagree. Honest John and CarGurus mention a plug-in hybrid Tarraco, and Parkers lists a hybrid fuel type, but Auto Express and carwow say no electrified Tarraco was sold in the UK. Treat a hybrid listing with caution and check the fuel type on the V5C.
Autocar reports that Seat ended Tarraco production by the second quarter of 2024 to make room for the Cupra Terramar. For a new seven-seat SUV of similar size, compare the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tayron: their makers quote 340 and 345 litres with all seats up, against 230 litres for the Tarraco on Honest John and carwow figures, though neither offers seven seats with its plug-in hybrid engine.
