A new Vauxhall 7-seater means the Frontera SUV, which offers seven seats as an option on GS and Ultimate trims with petrol or mild hybrid power, or the Combo Life Electric XL, a van-based people carrier with seven seats and sliding doors on both sides.
The Frontera is the smaller car at 4,385mm, and even Vauxhall accepts its extra seats really only suit children, according to carwow; Auto Express adds that child seats cannot be fitted in the third row. The Combo Life Electric XL is longer at 4,760mm and is sold only as an electric car. The Zafira Tourer MPV, dropped in 2018, is available used.

Vauxhall
Van-based MPV · seven seats
The Vauxhall Frontera is the one if you want petrol or hybrid power, or a manual gearbox: seven seats are offered with the Turbo 100 manual and the Hybrid 110 and Hybrid 145 automatics. Auto Express quotes 370 litres with the third row folded and says Vauxhall publishes no figure with all seven seats in use. The Frontera Electric is a five-seater.
The Combo Life Electric XL has more room and easier access, with sliding doors on both sides, a third row of two separate seats that tilt and lift out, and up to 213 miles of range from its 52kWh battery (carwow). carwow describes only the first two rows as comfortable for adults, and we found no current towing figure.
A used Zafira Tourer (2012 to 2018) uses Vauxhall's Flex7 seating, and carwow says its sliding middle row makes climbing into the back very easy. Auto Express warns that the rear brakes can bind and some electrical parts are fragile, so check that every light works.
No longer sold new, but easy to find secondhand.

Yes, the Combo Life Electric XL, with a 52kWh battery and up to 213 miles of range according to carwow. The Frontera Electric is five-seat only, so a seven-seat Frontera has to be the petrol or a mild hybrid. Compare the Combo Life with other electric 7-seaters.
