The Skoda 7-seater range is made up of the Kodiaq SUV, which can be ordered with seven seats on every trim, and the electric Peaq, which has seven seats as standard. The Kodiaq iV plug-in hybrid is five-seat only, because its battery takes up space under the boot floor.
Both have three Isofix points, two in the middle row and one on the front passenger seat, so either can take three child seats. The Kodiaq is the shorter car at 4,758mm and has 340 litres of boot space with all seven seats up; the Peaq is 4,874mm long with 299 litres plus a small front boot. Neither third row is meant for adults on long trips.

The Skoda Kodiaq makes sense if you want a petrol, mild hybrid or diesel engine, or need to tow: Skoda lists up to 2,500kg braked for some 4x4 versions. carwow treats its back row as occasional seating that suits children better than adults, with space and access on a par with a Nissan X-Trail, and the third row only folds once the middle row has slid forward. Euro NCAP gave it five stars in 2024.
The Peaq is longer and fully electric, and Skoda's brochure quotes up to 395 miles of WLTP range for the rear-wheel-drive 90 and up to 373 miles for the all-wheel-drive 90x. Auto Express found a six-foot adult gets very little legroom in its third row but reckons small children and teenagers will be comfortable there, with their own USB-C charging points. Euro NCAP had not tested it when Auto Express published its review in September 2026.

Yes. The Kodiaq SUV is offered with seven seats on every UK trim with petrol, mild hybrid or diesel engines, and the electric Peaq has seven seats as standard. Only the Kodiaq iV plug-in hybrid is limited to five seats.
Yes, the Peaq. Skoda quotes up to 395 miles of WLTP range for the rear-wheel-drive 90, and its model page lists an 86kWh battery, which AM describes as the net capacity. See how it compares with other electric 7-seaters.
Yes. The Kodiaq and Peaq both have Isofix on the front passenger seat as well as the two outer middle-row seats, so three child seats can be fitted with Isofix. Neither has Isofix in the third row. Our guide to 7-seaters with three Isofix points covers the alternatives.
