Dacia 7-seater cars
The Dacia 7-seater is the Jogger, an MPV with seven seats as standard on every UK version, whatever the trim or engine. You can have the TCe 110 petrol with a manual gearbox or the Hybrid 155, a self-charging full hybrid with an automatic.
The back row is roomier than you might expect: carwow's 6ft 2in tester fitted in the third row, and each third-row seat weighs about 10kg and folds or lifts out on its own. The catch is safety, as Euro NCAP gave the Jogger one star in 2021. The older Lodgy, which had seven seats on higher trims, is available used.

Which Dacia 7-seater should you choose?
For most buyers it is a new Dacia Jogger, and the real decision is the engine. The TCe 110 petrol is the cheapest way in but comes only with a manual gearbox. The Hybrid 155 pairs a 1.8-litre petrol engine with two electric motors and a 1.4kWh battery, and it is the one to choose if you want an automatic. Dacia's July 2026 brochure rates both to tow 1,200kg braked, although Auto Express and carwow quote much lower figures.
Boot space depends on whose figures you read. Dacia quotes 212 litres with all seven seats up, 699 litres with the third row folded and 820 litres with it removed. Its VDA figures, which match those quoted by Auto Express, are 160 and 565 litres.
If you are looking at a used Lodgy instead, check the specification carefully. Euro NCAP gave it three stars in 2012, and electronic stability control was not standard at launch.
